Maithil patra ki khaasiyat

• Prepared each year by Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University and traditional Maithil pandits.
• Uses Purnimanta months like the rest of Bihar, but the new year begins at Mesha Sankranti (Jur Sital).
• Siddhanta (marriage-lineage) meetings at Saurath sabha were scheduled from it.
